Ever built/ considered building your own "Saw" style game?

Lately I've been tempted to build my own 'Saw' style survival game for a few close friends and co-workers, maybe in my apartment storage building... we'll see. I was just wondering if anyone else has considered doing it? If anyone else has actually done it, and if so, how did it work out for you?

Update:

...not bad light-bringer, mine would prolly be something more light the mother is bound and slowing having several of her bones broken and to save her, the daughter (probably abused if the mother you mentioned is willing to cut her with a butcher knife) has has had her achilles heel on both feet cut, must crawl a long distance on 1. a section of broken glass 2. a section of salt and acid 3. a section of hot coals, to get a key where she will then have to crawl back over if she wants to free her mother.... godo thinking though~

A mother plays a game of hide and seek with her 4 year old daughter. She is holding a large kitchen knife in her hand. She tells the daughter, I am going to count to one hundred, and if I find you, then I am going to cut off your thumbs. The girl, terrified, hides in her closet, and the mother, knowing that is likely where she will be, lets her stay there, terrified, frightened, traumatized, until the very end. When the mother opens the door, she bends down over her daughter and cuts the skin under one of her thumbs.

Yeah I think there should be a "Saw" styled game for people on death row instead of the death penalty.
