I don't know if this guy likes me?

Question

Ok I absolutely have a HUGE crush on this guy. He is the light of my life and it gives me butterflies thinking about him. I think he might be the one... Anyway I don't know if he likes me. He told me last year (I asked him to the dance 7th grade and he had a girlfriend) that if he didn't have a girlfriend when I asked him then he would've gone with me because he liked me. And now (I'm in tenth grade) he smiles and blushes when he's around me and a few times when I was putting the combo in my lock (his locker is right next to mine) and he smiles and laughs and messed it up and I was blushing and smiling. I just told him I liked him for a really long time and he laughed and smiled and said Awwww.... And I smiled and said "Well I think you already knew that." And he said laughed and smiled and said "Yeah i know you asked me out before." And I said, "I don't remember" and laughed. Then later we were walking to sixth period together and he said, "Well I don't know cause I still love Ashley.." and now Idk if I should wait for him to get over Ashley... But main question: Does this guy like me? and also how should i go about making him my boyfriend? I REALLY REALLY like this guy!!!! Please no sarcastic/mean/nasty answers. Ps. He's single and so am I.

Hmm...seems like he is torn between two girls. dramatic as that sounds. But, he cant seem to choose. If he didnt like ya, he would tell you. DUH. But, he likes Asley too. Alot. Unfortunately, you will have to move on or wait til he gets over her. If he does....Well good luckk.. 

P.s in the meantime, DATE. Make him a tad bit jealous and see if THAT will make him him choose already. :)

OK, i think i might have your answer, im 16 and im a Jr. in high school. What you should do is if he still loves her and hes single, try and spend as much time with him you can, without looking desperate and get his mind off Ashley, show him that he doesn't have to drag on about this girl if hes single. When you two talk, don't involve comments and questions about relationships, when your out with your friends invite him along and get him out there and show him what a great chance he might have with you. Don't be shy and just be yourself. He will come around and if he doesn't then that's his loss, but just give him some time and get his attention a little bit at a time. It will pay off =)

Well he avoided telling you how he felt about you and then crossed over to saying how he still likes someone else. Based on that alone brings me to believe he's not very interested in you as a "girlfriend" and he only smiles and whatnot next to you to be nice because that's what your giving off to him. By all means don't give up trying to win him over though because believe me teenage boys can love one person one day and hate them the next.

Wow, from what you said, it really sounds like he likes you. He still seems to be stuck on this Ashley girl, and if anything he sounds like he's afraid to move on. So you should still like flirt and stuff, but you should give him some space to get over her. It'll be better for both of you if he's more focused on you instead of her. =) 
p.s. yes he does like you.

Well he could but then maybe he just doesnt want to be mean and turn you down because hes obviously known you like him... i say dont push it just flirt with him and try to talk to him more... and if he likes you he'll come around... if not then let go sweetie! trust me its not worth getting hooked on him theres someone out there for you.
