What tennis player (in general) do you have the least respect for?
Even though i am rooting for him until the semis, i gotta say Fernando Gonzalez. What he did to James Blake in the Olympics was horrible. The ball touched his racquet and he denied it, causing James the win and an olympic medal which he definately wont ever get. Its really not cool in my opinion and i wont forgive him for that.

Serena Williams. Here are my reasons.
1. She's arrogant.
2. She never gets beat according to her. If she loses it is because she didn't play well or was "hurt".
3. She boycotts Indian Wells because they booed her 200 years ago. Get over youself already.
4. She and her father are both racist. You know they are. Especially her dad.
5. She says and wears nasty/sexual things when she is probably the least sexually attractive person in the world. Example: Her "Don't stare at my titles" shirt. Please, the last place in the world that I want to stare at is your big, saggy breasts. And yes I got the titles joke.
6. She grunts. She doesn't even make a sexy noise like Maria Sharapova. It's loud and obnoxious.
7. She has no respect for any other player except maybe her sister.
That's about all that I can think of for now at least. I'm prepared to be called a racist now for not liking her even though none of my reasons had anything to do with race. I've dealt with it before.

To Bobby Justine and Serena were playing @ Roland Garros 2003 and Serena was getting ready to serve. Justine was not ready and put her hand up. Serena saw this and decided to serve anyway. Serena served into the net so she asked for a first serve. The Umpire said TO SERENA he did not see Justine's hand. It's not that Justine didn't admit it. He did not ask her. I am saying this exactly the way it played out. I can say this with confidence because I downloaded the match to see for my self because everyone is still accusing Justine of cheating. Serena saw her hand was up and served any way. That in my opinion is not cheating. There have been many time when Serena or any player for that matter starts to serve then stops her service motion or throws the ball up and lets it drop or catch it. If it was an "ace" do you think Serena would have asked to serve again? No she did because it would have been in her advantage to have a first serve. That said, I am sure if it was and "ace" Justine would have said she wasn't ready. Now to answer the questions. The player I dislike is Serena Williams. I was really becoming a fan especially after the AO 07 but when she lost to Justine in the USO last year she was really classless. I know she was upset about the loss but give your opponent some credit. She does that all the time especially against Justine. My dislike for her grew even more after she lost to Jelena in the qtr finals of the AO this year and said she lost the match because she went crazy. Good for you 10S. The Umpire didn'd ask Justine a single question he just spoke to Serena. I am not blind I know what I saw. Maybe we were watching two different broadcast's. Maybe he did ask her. But on the version I was watching he only spoke to Serena

I dont like the fact that everyone just agreed Gonzalez, Im pretty sure half of you guys didnt know about the incident..
I think I have the least respect for Mardy Fish for what he did to Richard Gasquet at the US Open one year when he was playing, & saying that he's gay.. like who cares if he is? is it such a big deal?

Fernando Gonzalez has issues for sure but I have the least respect or Joe Turk. He plays tennis at the local park and only wants to play one armed guys and old women. He is a terrible sport, screaming and yelling and always making a fuss if he loses...Yes, I have no respect at all for him!

I cant believe one of the answerers named Dinara Safina as the person she has least respect for because she is ranked #1 without winning a slam. I think this person needs a news flash. Dinara Safina did not make the rankings system, the WTA did that. It is not Safina's fault that the WTA has decided to rank her the #1 player.

I'll probably get a lot of backlash from this, but I have no respect for Dinara Safina. How can she be the world number one, when she hasn't ever won a grand slam? I just can't seem to understand how she can be ranked higher over someone like Serena Williams. Safina needs to show people why she is number one, until then I will always root against her.

I agree with you, Fernando Gonzalez hands down. He hides his horrible attitude with his lovable court demeanor. Also I was angry when he beat Tsonga tonight, I hope Nadal/Monfils crushes him.

dreamer: Work hard and you'll earn the top spot, cherry picking and laziness, hmmm well, will earn you at least the second spot. i know, serena could be the number 1 if she plays more tournaments. Number ones should do the favor of letting the FANS see more of her..
