Has anyone seen the yahoo news about 3800.00 dollar fine?

.I just read about it. It says:Americans could be fined 3800.00 dollars for failing to buy health insurance under a plan that circulated in Congress on Tuesday. Obama said before his election that he was against fining. Now he is for it. What do you think?

Apparently, the Democrats believe that all we liberals ever wanted as we demanded national health care all these many years was for the public to be hit with hefty fines for not purchasing insurance from the very companies who have been raping us and ripping us off for the past 30 years.

Obama did not suggest the fine, Congress did. So saying Obama supports the fine is misleading: He hasn't mentioned it one way or the other, so one can only assume he is still against it.

In case you forgot, the President does NOT write laws, Congress does. This bill is still in Congress, therefore, nothing in ti has been officially supported or unsupported by the President unless he said otherwise.

that fine will go a long way to get the poor to have health care. kind of like taxing employers more and expecting them to give out more jobs. Back a??wards logic.

Kevin A.R.T.- Obama supports the bill so Obama supports the fine

I think that they will only impose the fine on SOME people while OTHERS will be exempt from paying anything.

I DARE YOU TO TELL ME I'M WRONG!
