Puppy with little balance?
We have 9wk old schnauzer puppies. Everyone is normal except for a male. He has trouble keeping his balance and falls over a lot when walking from here to there. Hes eating, drinking, using the bathroom and has as much energy as his siblings, he simply walks around like hes drunk and when he is sitting still his head shakes. The symptoms occurred at 7wks old, before his shots. All our dogs live indoors and are vaccinated. Also they are never left unattended to get into things they shouldn't.
Our vet has not given us a diagnoses and only mentioned that it could be a brain disease or his body is attacking itself. They said there's nothing more they could do and said that the veterinary teaching hospital could do a lot more, that they liked special cases but that we would have to donate him.

It definitley sounds like something of the brain. I had a boxer cross that would lose his balance too and he ended up having a brain tumor. He was older though, but I dont know if that makes a difference. I also heard that if you cross your dogs back legs and he doesnt uncross them on his own, then its something to do with the brain. If he uncrosses them on his own, then its not. Maybe give that a try. If the problem stems in the brain, I would get it checked immediately. Good luck!

From your story, it sounds like your dog has epilepsy and I'm afraid that epilepsy is an incurable case but there are a number of medication that can help control symptoms.
Here's a very informative article on canine epilepsy that I think you should read. Hope your dog gets better.

i'm not sure what satin balls even are, so do not supply them that. they might have a tablespoon of uncomplicated or vanilla yogurt of their mush on a daily basis - yet do not supply them extra, as there may be too a lot micro organism in it. a sprint is sturdy for them. in the event that they have teeth, you could waft the kibble in a number of the milk, and enable them to crunch- it extremely is sturdy for them to learn the thank you to consume. be careful to not supply the foster mommy too a lot cottage cheese. canines are lactose illiberal, and too a lot might desire to offer her diarrhea.
