What kind of people should be in apartment body corporate boards?

I would say people who:

(a) have no conflicting interests

(b) have some basic knowledge of the law, property management and accounting (but know their own limits)

(c) are accomplished enough in their real lives so you know they are not doing this job as an ego boost.

    none; there should not be any such body

    the owners do not need one

    they need only hire a property manager and let them do their job
