CD Lan Help with 2142 Battlefield?
I want to use the LAN feature on battlefiled 2142 across my two computers, but I don't want to buy a second CD just to do this. I tried copying the CD onto a DVD-R, but it said "Wrong Disc inserted
Insert origion 2142 Battlefield CD"
Is there a way to copy it to the computer, or get the game to falsely recognize the copied CD as the 2142 Origional CD?
BTW, I am not looking for cracked software or torrents.

Try this tutorial it's for BF2 but it works for 2142: http://www.totalgamingnetwork.com/main/showthread....
You may have to create a full size image of the disc as I couldn't get a mini image to work. You will also still need an internet connection to play LAN most likely, or use a program like Hamatchi.
