A 0.755g sample of hydrated copper 2 sulfate (CuSO4 X xH2O) was heated carefully until it had changed completely to anhydrous copper2 sulfate CuSO4 with a mass of 0.483g. Determine the value of x.

Sorry i don't have my calculator with me, but i can show you the steps:
.483/(molecular weight CuSO4) = moles of CuSO4
.755-.483 = grams of H2O/(molecular weight of H2O) = moles of H2O
Now divide moles of CuSO4 and moles of H2O by moles of the molecule with the least amount of moles. That should give you a simpler ratio to work with to find out X.
