"Didn't John Bonham replace Keith Moon for Led Zeppelin when Keith died?"

"Jim Morrison? didn't he play for the lakers or something?"

"Isn't Pink Floyd like old people's music like from the 50's? Isn't he like dead? I think you should listen to our generations stuff like Kevin Rudolf"

"I'm pretty sure that Paul Simon was in the Beatles"

"You like Iron Maiden? wow emo poser, go listen to all time low or evanescence thats real emo."

"*looks at my ipod* Wow your listening to the Velvet Underground? I didn't think that you were into unknown hip-hop!"

"I heard Alice Cooper a while ago and man SHE sucks!"

"*looks at my who shirt* I don't think you should wear that to school, it's gang related."

Jimi Hendrix was listed as "Soul and Funk" in some music store

Oh. You'll love this.

I'm wearing the Nirvana shirt with the Yellow Smiley at school. Then a "emo" wearing a Fall Out Boy shirt comes up to me and says,

"OMG! You poser! Listen to real Emo like Fall Out Boy" *points to shirt* 
" and Paramore. You're such a loser." 

I responded by saying thanks for the advice. I also recommended Brokencyde for him. The next day, he told me that he hated that crap and said Hip-Hop sucks.

Some guy actually tried to convince me that Tom Delonge of Blink 182 and Angels and Airwaves, is better than Jimi Hendrix.

At first I thought he was just pulling my leg, but when I found out that he was dead serious, I fell into a long chuckling fit.

He then proceeded to call Hendrix a lame hippie.

I dunno if this quite up to par with the dumbass **** in your question... we had someone come into our house for the first time and we got a bob marley pic front in center in the room, one of the first things you see when ya walk in. She asks us why we had a pic of "some black guy" on our wall. For reals she didn't even have a clue, everyone thought she was joking, but at some point later she brought it up again, clueless. lol
