Las night I had a dream that Parramatta beat the Bulldogs in the finals... soooo?
Ok maybe a bit of wishful thinking!! But who here thinks that the Eels have a good chance of beating the Dragons this Sunday? Unbiased answers would be better cos everyone knows that an Eels and Dragon supporter will back their own team! thanks!!
Argh, I should proofread my question heading before I submit!
Mick, I said unbiased..haha.. u too roodmood.. nice try to get the BA haha :)
Oh hell, biased or unbiased answers welcome!
And I'm predicting a huge punch up on Sunday too..

If only dreams came true hey.. I'd be a millionaire.
Honestly, I think either team can win on Sunday. I think it largely depends on who scores first. It think it will be close but the bias in me believes the Dragons can win this, but I do think it could be anybodies game. The Eels know it's a must win so they will be pulling out all stops to try and win. Dragons have a second chance card but need to find form if they're a chance of winning the GF.

Sorry I am a St George Illawarra Dragons supporter but I think the Parramatta Eels will have all the pressure on them this Sunday. They were beaten by a far superior defence from the Dragons last week which gave the Eels very little chance to get any forward momentum going at all. This weekend's game will be a lot closer but I reckon the Dragons will be too strong in the second half and even though the Eels have some of their stars returning, I don't think they will be able to stop the Dragons onslaught !!

Parramatta will require a very good start, if Dragons score the first 2 tries the momentum will bury the Eels.
A 10/10 Hayne performance won't be enough on its own.
I'll give the Eels a 20% chance - its league so anything can happen...I wouldn't rely on the Dragons blowing this one, there choke is usually reserved for a little later in the playoffs!
Goodluck anyway, I will be supporting the Eels.
@Dee Zon - No offence but where do you come up with this stuff, what you said is wrong much like the statements you made in your question the other day!

As a South Sydney Supporter I feel I can give an unbiased assesment I can't really see Parramatta getting close to St George, I think you should be resigned to the fact that it will be a similar scoreline to last week. Last week was the first time in a while that Parramatta had played a top four side and they felt the pinch last week of playing a top four side. Parramatta beating the Bulldogs gee that is a little bit off the mark, Bulldogs to go on to meet Melbourne in the decider!.

I think the Dragons will win this week-end but I don't expect any sort of walkover like last Friday. I rate the Dragons 60/40 to win with the home ground advantage coming into play. Should be a great game!

Dee Zon: The Dragons v Eels match is the 1st v 8th match, not the 2nd v 7th.
I don't rate the Eels much of a chance this weekend to be honest, but it's going to be a much closer game than the one we saw on Friday night.

Eels will win by a bit we will not get our pants pulled down like last friday night
btw i do not think bulldogs can make it that far without kimmorly but if eels win this weekend i can definitely see them in the grand final

jeez i hope ur right lol, honestly, i really think we can tun it around, they scored 4 tries down our right side, where hindy and junior usually defend, the new defensive combo just didnt know each other, with that back now, i really think we can turn our form around plus 2 other reasons, 1. we didnt have Inu for the last 50 minutes of the game and 2. that was the first time in 8 weeks when we COULD lose and we werent playing for our season, back to sudden death, all or nothing this week, even if tragically we dont win, i can guarandamtee it will be way closer

It wasn't a dream parragirl you were remembering 1986.
Punch up is unlikely as who will want to risk suspension for the remainder of the finals?
Parra will be more formidable than last week but can they be 37 points better?
Not likely from where I am.
Kids where are your piggy banks daddy needs all the money he can find to put on the dragons!!

They will all have to bring their A game. Hayne wil have a lot of confidence going into the game being named as Dall M Medalist.
With Grothe and Hindmarsh back they will be a good team and might win
