95 Ford f-150 starting problem?

Drove truck 3 miles, went into store for about 5 minutes, came out and would not start. Turned over great, no sign of taking off at all. Truck sat for 24 hours and took right off. Only thing I have noticed lately is that it "seems" to start running a bit rough after it warms up. Have done tune-up, fuel filter, etc. Straight 6, 5speed. Any thoughts.

Thanks

Check your fuel pump and fuel pump relay, they might be malfunctioning already. Also check your ignition coil. Hope this helps!

Your description sounds like a classic case of an electrical component breaking down when hot or under heat load, the most common thing for this to be on the 95 F150 would be the ignition module on the side of the distributor. Have it load tested (tested when hot) . If you can't do this the old farmer trick is to hold a bag of ice on the module when it quits and if it restarts more quickly you know that is the culprit.

If reminiscence serves me there's a solenoid on the fender suitable close to the battery and there is the place i might start up in case you have checked the Battery terminals to make optimistic they are sparkling and making reliable touch. The solenoid is low cost and could be offered at any automobile factors keep. As a final hotel artwork your way faraway from the battery, it could additionally be the Ignition change.
