How to have a sentimental relationship...(more inside!)?

When I watch movies and stuff, I see how people can get really sentimental with there relationships..

For example, in Nick and NOrah's Infinite Playlist, he made her the cd and the cool cd cover..

I want ideas like that when I get into a relationships?? Any good ones?

Is Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist a movie? if so... try not to base a relationship or place ANY expectations on one based on a film... hollywood does blow a LOT of this stuff waaay outa proportion.

however... to answer your question.... nice stuff i have either done/had done for me/heard of (in real life)

some keep the ticket stubs from movies that they have seen together.

Im a sucker for lots of photos to remember where you have been, things you have done.

a friend of mine has ordered a gold-dipped rose for his girl.

I took my boy on a picnic one day and packed all his favourite foods.

go somewhere with no plans whatsoever. just do what you want, when you want. NOT planning is great because you never know what cafe you will walk into, what movie you will see, what beach you will wander along (if you are into that) until the second you actually do it.

any birthdays/special events, i always date the card/engrave the gift (if possible) so you will always remember when and why you got the gift.

its great when you have been together for long enough to just KNOW stuff about each other, like their likes/dislikes etc...

Make the effort to do things BOTH of you like.... i make my boy ice skate, he makes me go to lazer force....

its nice to have little in-house jokes that only the two of you understand..

i dont know, i could go on haha. but the trick is always in the "little things" that you know and learn about each other along the way
