How can I remove a program from the list of “Currently installed programs”?

In my PC a program was installed erroneously that is an error was occurred when the program was being installed. When I want to uninstall the program Windows fails to uninstall. But the name of the program is still listed in the “Currently installed programs:” in the “Add or Remove Programs” window of Windows XP SP2. How can I remove this from the list?

You should download CCleaner which has great features that will benefit your computer.

But it allows you to delete a program entry from the "Currently installed programs" list without actually uninstalling it.

You can get it from this website (it is free):

The above listed downloads are cool..but if you wanna remove it without downloading anything then go to My Computer>c: >Program Files..you will see the name of the folder in which the program was installed..delete that..if not then try it from safe mode(it will prevent the program from running at startup, nvm)..
