Just as an FYI, video game testing is not what you think it is.
it's not you sitting in front of a console geting fed pizza and asked to play games all day and then give you an opinion.
It's a job that can get very repetitive. Meaning that during the development of a game, you will be tasked with playing sections of the game over and over and over for weeks and months on end looking for bugs or other issues. Now think about playing a game you like and remember the last time you couldn't pass a section and having to restart the level...2-4 times can be very annoying, now imagine playing that same level over and over for 8 hours a day for 2 months.

Depending on where you live will effect the possibility of this answer.
I live in Austin TX I'm twenty years old going to school to become a beta tester for video games/PC games. I can honestly say that either Austin or Dallas is where you need to be to peruse such a dream. I used to work at Blizzard Entertainment the Company that made starcraft, warcraft, diablo, worldofwarcraft, I was a GM there aka Game Master I never did any testing but I'm sure there is a position for such things there. Along with Blizzard other companies such as Activision,Bungie, and Midway also have places of business in Austin. I have a friend who is currently beta testing for the new StarWars MMORPG coming out he's making $17.50 an hour. If you are interested in possibly working for some of these places shoot me an email and we can talk I know many of people that work for these places.

How old are you?
And what City & State are you located in.
I could possibly offer a "Intern Game Tester"
which means you would have to play games rate them and find glitches, however the first 3 months would be with no pay. simply complete your work the most efficient and proficient way to be moved up into an "Associate game Tester" which starts off at 15 dollars. with raises and bonuses. plus seek-peeks at up-coming games.
and with 2 years as
