Point charge capacitance?

A point charge of 4.00 x 10^-9 C is located at the origin. How much work is required to bring a positive charge of 1.00 X 10^-9 C from infinity to the location x = 30.0 cm?

I never know how to get started with this graphical stuff!!

the work done in making the assembly of 2 changes by bringing 2nd charge from infinity = electrical potential energy of the system

    work done = Elec PE = 9*10^9 [Q1 Q2/separation]

    = 9*10^9 [4*10^-9 * 1 * 10^-9/0.30]

    = 120* 10^-9

    = 1.2* 10^-7 Joule
