How to make friends to hang out with?
I have some friends in school, but we never hang out in groups or go places after school. How do I make friends that will want to do these things? I'm afraid to ask people to go places, because I'm afraid that I'll get ignored or something. Thanks!
Thanks for the answers guys!
But to SC:
I used to think that... but I always have a good time with my friends... even if I'm just doing nothing! It sure beats being alone. If they do stuff stupid, it's fun to laugh at, but if it gets to the point where it's dangerous, I leave.

you'll never know if they are the type of people you would want to go and hang out with outside of school unless you ask them for yourself.
you're not being annoying and im sure they wouldnt ignore you if you only ask them one time to hangout out side of school. just simply ask if they want to see a movie or something one of these days and exchange numbers.
when it comes around the time, call them up and see if they are still up for it.
if they say they dont want to, then its okay.at least they are not the type of people to hangout with out side of school.
but it never hurts to try.

My friends didn't understand that either. Soon, after a span of a couple of months, circumstances changed and I can safely say I have almost no friends. I've never been happier, if I'm honest. They were all spiteful and selfish and I feel better off. Anyway, you can't do much about them thinking you're weird. Maybe they'll see it as quirky and embrace it, but probably not. You may have to be economic and set aside a certain amount of time for friends, and a certain amount of time for family. As long as you can keep a good balance, and keep it subtle, they will feel more appreciated. whilst you still get to see your family, too.

Deth you want the honest truth.....forget friends, you know sometimes you will feel that way but you know what screw it, friends will just get you it trouble, make you feel like crap...trust me i know, I used to think that i had the best friends in the world, but if i did, i would be hanging out with them and not here typing this to you, if you want true friends, stick next to your family's side like a magnet, they are the ones that will always be there for you through everything!
