Public transportation to Sound Academy?

I am planning on travelling to Toronto to see Regina Spektor at the Sound Academy next week. I am coming from north of the city and I am going to take the subway from Yorkdale to Union station. What would be the best way to get from Union to the Sound Academy using public transit?

Update:

So If I take the bus how far is the walk from the stop? Do they call out the stops? What is the fare?

    Route 72A stops on Front St just east of Bay. Take this bus to Cherry St and Commissioners St and walk the rest of the way.

    On the Sound Academy website there's a little heading way up at the top that says 'directions', and it has them for taking the TTC. You can also find transit directions at MyTTC.com
