PS3 Firmware update 3.00 disabled playback of music while doing other functions?

After updating, I now cannot press the PS button to exit playback while still having my music playing.

Before, I had my sound settings to accept all of the 2CH up to 176khz, and it would play mp3's at 48khz, which was fine (CD's played at whatever they were recorded to).

Now though, it defaults to 44.1 for mp3s, unless I select higher. It even defaults if only 44.1 and 48khz are selected. Annoyingly, I can't disable 44.1 OR 48khz, which is apparently the fix for it.

Any help?

Update:

Selecting any combination of frequencies does not help, I'm afraid; including the one in the first answer.

Update 2:

AHA! Thanks to the first answer, I didn't read it right and ventured into the wrong folder; I didn't notice he meant the music settings folder. I actually chose to use 48khz instead of 44.1/88.2/176 as the answer suggested, because 48khz actually lets me press the PS button whereas 44.1..... does not. Thanks again! I'll just have to keep switching it when I want to play a CD at 176khz

go to your audio settings and then select hdmi or digital fiber (Whichever one you have).

then choose all the settings that you want.

then go to music settings > output frequency. and select 44.1/88.2/176.4 kHz
