How safe is fluorite?
I really know no chemistry, but fluorine gas is dangerous, and too much fluoride is dangerous. How about fluorite as a crystal? Are there any conditions under which it could be dangerous? In water? In fire?

Fluorite is a very stable mineral at normal temperatures and pressures. It presents no dangers at all.
