Lincoln Town Car vs Hyndai Sonata?

Alright so my grandma wants to buy what is going to be her last car. She wants a car that will run reliably for 10+years as long as taken care of. Gets average fuel economy but that's not her biggest concern. One big thing for her is comfort. She hasn't looked at a Sonata yet but she seemed fairly impressed with the Lincoln Town Car, She also wants something with some power she acted like the town car's 4.6L V8 would be satisfactory.

Basically all im asking is for some opinions on these two car's from personal experience.

Thanks for any helpful anwsers.

Update:

Her previous car was a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville.

For the poster above me, the Town Car is made in St. Thomas Ontario, Canada.

I'd look at either a MKS (cheaper, more high-tech, better fuel economy, same power) or the all-new 2010 Ford Taurus, which shares a basic platform with the MKS. It can be had for a lot less. The Taurus SHO (Super High Output) or the Lincoln MKS EcoBoost have the same engine, but the SHO is much cheaper (and looks better, in my opinion). I wouldn't buy a Hyundai if you're looking for reliability - Ford is where it's at (tied with Toyota, beating Honda!).

I would go with the Lincoln. It will be easier for her and her friends to get into/out of. Larger trunk. Longer wheelbase for comfort. American made. Almost anything you want or need is standard. Dealers everywhere. But have Grandma look at the Hyundai Genesis 4.6L V8 sedan as an alternative to the Sonata! 10 year warranty. 6 speed automagic transmission Around $38,000
