Different foods in different cultures.?
My boyfriend said it sounds racist to ask this but I am not trying to stereotype I was just bored and hungry when I thought of this. I can't think of an asian dish that has cheese in it. Not one chineese or japaneese meal with cheese. Also mexican food never has broccoli or cauliflower. Do people in mexico eat broc and coliflower? Do people in japan eat cheese? And I nuts for thinking about this stuff? And is it gross that I put avocado slices on top of my chineese food? I am seven months pregnant by way...that might be impairing my thinking.

Of course we (mexican) eat broccoli, cauliflower and a lot of veggies (tomatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage, potatoes, zuccini, avocado, garlic, peppers, etc.), in salads, guisados or soups. A normal mexican homemade "platillo" usually has a salad, some rice or pasta and guisado or beans... We don't live eating burritos or tacos all the time.
Of course, in restaurants we offer the most deliccious dishes (not healthier, necesarily, but tasty)... so the most part of people knows burritos, tacos, enchiladas, mole, etc.

Asians usually consume soy milk and tofu products because cow's milk products are hard for them to digest. I have eaten cream cheese won tons with plum sauce a few times in one Chinese restaurant, don't know if it is an authentic Chinese dish or the owner made up the recipe to offer as a dessert here .
Broccoli and cauliflower as fresh vegetables were not readily available 40 years ago in the cities and states where I lived, that may be part of the reason that Mexicans don't use them. And they are cold-weather plants, hot climates will make them go to seed and toughen very quickly.
Your question is not racist a bit, it is just curiosity about cultural differences in cuisines.

Dairy products like cheese, cream etc. are not normally used in asian cuisine. Most people can't even digest it. Even though with the multi-culti foods like Mc Do and Co. which have cheese in their burgers it seems that especially the younger generation can adapt.

Many stable suggestions above, additionally attempt Moroccan food because it somewhat is extremely stable. Russian dishes are to my palate much less flavorful than Thai, Italian and many of the middle-eastern and North African meals. The particularly stable Russian dishes tend to resemble classic French meals and are too heavy for me to consume in many cases. Indian food is super, yet can get too warm to consume somewhat. Ethiopian is is likewise stable, yet warm. universal American meals are very flavorful, which includes Salvadorian, Cuban, and actual Mexican/Yucatan meals In South American meals, attempt a Brazilian steakhouse, a Chilean buffet, or Argentinean meals Oriental meals are in all probability the main distinctive, and there are a number of categories to objective Polynesian meals are extraordinary!! nonetheless, for me, Italian and Greek flavors are the terrific and are very distinctive as they're in line with what's sparkling that day. comparable with southern coast of France, and Spanish coast.
