regcure any one know anything about it,?

i have just down loaded it and it tells me i have 775 errors but to fix it i will have to register (at a cost) i have tried to remove it from the system but without sucess i have removed it from control panel but it is still operational ,any ideas ?

    RegCure is semi-legit. It is not registered anywhere *officially* as malware, but I have personally observed that it works very poorly. Of course, it may be being used as a hoax-hijacker now... Things change.

    If you don't regularly clean your registry, it very well could have 775 errors in it -- but that's not as spectacular a number as it sounds. Ignore that report (for now), unless you are having some kind of specific problem you are trying to correct.

    Try using Spybot Search and Destroy, or MalwareBytes -- both avalialble through www.majorgeeks.com.

    1st thing I'd do is go into "Services" & turn everything off\disable all that has to do with the Regcure program running & reboot. Then go into Windows Explorer, find the Regcure folder in \Programs, & then find the (ui) "uninstaller".exe file. You can double click it & try running it from there. (You may or may not want to run the "ui" in "Safemode".) *You can also try reinstalling it over what's there & then follow the steps above.

    You just infected yourself with a trojan )~8 (Regcure)

    Quick Malware Removal

    1.Go to Start -> Run -> Type msconfig -> Ok -> Go in BOOT.INI tab and tick both "Safe boot" and to the right of that "Networking" and hit Apply and Close.(It will boot in "Safe with networking mode" Choose Aministrator)

    2.While in "Safe with networking mode" download Malwarebytes.

    3.Right click on the mbam setup app you downloaded and rename it xxxx then Dbl click on it and install and update it (If you can) and run a full scan and delete/quarantine all entities it finds (Restart if it asks?)

    (Note)If you couldn't update before 1st scan update Malwarebytes and do another scan with a updated Malwarebytes!

    4.Go to Start,Run,type msconfig and hit ok.Go in BOOT.INI tab and untick Safe Boot and then go in the Startup tab and (uncheck) all programs (not) needed at startup "Lesser is better in this case" and hit apply,close,restart.Your computer will boot normally and on your desktop a window will popup,check "Don't show this message"box and hit ok.

    5.Download Superantispyware,install,update,and run a full scan and

    delete/quarantine all entities it finds.

    Do a virus scan,

    What security do you have on your PC as yours may not pick it up
