corn liquor, bluegrass music, clogging, wildcats, bear grease, venison, homemade soap, root cellars, muscadines, trout, clear glassware left out in the sun all summer to become violet colored, womens hair pulled in tight buns, sunbonnets, aprons, calico fabric, train tressels, iron kettles, stone fireplaces, oil lmaps, winter squash, persimmons, hickory nuts, mules, overalls, fiddles, old women in black, sorgum syrup, bare feet, tin roofed cabins, red clay, springs, waterfalls, ginseng, apples, holler haints, outhouses, clapboard country stores
