Is it safe to use a plug from another device to replace one on a different device?
i've got a panasonic TV that got its plug cut off (cant find the original plug) and figured it would be pretty simple to just cut the cord off another device with a similar cord and just wrap up the connection with some electrical tape.
while it is completely within my power to do so, I'm no electrician and have no idea if i'd be creating some death-trap in trying to fix a TV in such a way, so my question is: Is this something dangerous, and if so, are there any ways to properly go about it?

Make sure the output voltage are the same, you dont wanna go overpowering a tv, if you cant find any plugs that are the same voltage then go search for one on the internet.
