This answer cannot be offered in completion without including the metaphysical as well.

"... distinction between ignorance and knowledge is unreal and verbal. There is neither ignorance nor even knowledge! When you cease to see knowledge and ignorance as two distinct entities, what exists, alone exists. The reflection of vidya (knowledge) itself is considered avidya (ignorance). When these two notions are abandoned what remains is the truth: it may be something or it may be nothing! It is omnipotent, it is more empty than space and yet it is not empty because it is full of consciousness." ~ Vasistha

"Knowledge, therefore, is itself Ignorance and the distinction is non-existent for both are collapse events and thus illusions. Amazingly, and ironically, the Vedantists found the answer to infinity interacting with infinity in ONE non-dual Consciousness!" - See site source hyperlink

The answer to your question is yes. Neither came first and yet both came first. Simply speaking, one cannot be without the other.

Both. The observer just changes or directs perceived frequencies into their own perception of it. We direct and manipulate frequencies into conforming to what we expect of them.

About the only truth of anything is we have a good labeling system to agree on. We have no direct contact with the real reality because all we perceive are frequencies that are constructed into a reality internally by our brain. Everything else is insubstantial conjecture. *grins*

In quantum-relativistic physics the emphasis is in understanding local/

non-local space-time interactions of quanta. Embedded in these interactions are the phenomena of observer-observed reality in the

frame of reference of the observer and the observed...
