I set this girls hair on fire... omg help!?
Hey, my name is Courtney, I am 14 and yes I am a girl.
Today I was walking to the mall with my friend Ashley and I found this lighter, I picked it up cuz Ashley kept talking to this other girl named Jane and Monique and Mandie and Victoria and Chloe, so I just put it in my pocket... I was very bored. I dont like Jane, and when we were all walking to the mall, Jane all of a sudden stopped and she was texting, I was behind Jane, and I was trying to light the lighter.
All of a sudden, she stopped and I almost walked into her, and I finally lit the lighter and wind came and Jane's hair blew towards the lighter, but the flame didnt go out cuz we were behind Jane, and she wears tons of hairspray, so her hair immediatley caught fire!!!
I threw the lighter and I kept walking like I didnt know what was happening. We all kept walking and Jane didnt notice her hair was on fire, and we were all looking at my phone, then suddenly, Jane started screaming, and we looked and her hair had ALL burned, there was a digusting smell, and she kept telling us to put out the fire, but it out before it reaches her scalp, she quickly ran head first into a tree and fell, but the fire went out...
OMG... help... will I get caught?

I wish I was level 2 just so that i could thumbs down your so called 'funny' answers about a serious situation.
as for you, instead of worrying about you, try worrying about Jane, who no matter how bad she may be, did not deserve to have her hair set on fire. did you think the fire would magically go out? why would not say something...?
either way, you should own up to it, apologize to Jane, and make sure people know its an accident. if you hide it, you're automatically percieved as guilty. thats just how it is, sorry to say it but for all you know, you could be in big legal trouble, such as attempted murder. 10 years olds can get charged with it, and if you did it because you didnt like jane, then YOU are the one who deserves to have their hair set on fire.

Ha hilarious, she was probably running around all frantic yelling "My hair, my gorgeous hair" and you were all like " Huh, what happened something about your hair what's going on" She should have went bald, I mean has she never heard of stop drop and roll. You should find that lighter and throw it some where far away like in the ocean where it might drift. And if they question you they can't prove anything so just yell " No snitching."

I am sorry to say this but you are a very bad friend. It was totally irresponsible to not tell her that her hair was on fire.
And yes, you will get caught sooner or later. It's better to fess up NOW, because if you wait it will make you an even bigger idiot. The consequences will be HORRIBLE if someone else finds out.
Take responsibility and own up to what you did.

What! And why would you not try to put the fire out? Time to own up to your actions and take some responsibility for them. How would you feel if that had happened to you?
Seriously!

i really don't know if you'll get caught or not...this is a really hard question to answer...you should really think about owning up to it instead of trying to hide it that would only make things worse

You wont get caught unless you tell the truth.
But guilt might catch up to you.
