True Narnians don't say that. We say "For Narnia... and for Aslan!" It's from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, when Peter rides into battle. "For Narnia" is from Prince Caspian. Before charging into the night raid, it seems that Peter has given up on Aslan. Not entirely, but still without faith.

You make a really good point. I had a difficult upbringing so I can’t tell you when I last loved everyone as a child…I am a forgiving kind of person, I learned a long time ago to forgive and forget. I could not have survived without being able to do that. A year ago I had a conversation with a pastor (licensed minister)…he made me feel very small about a comment I made regarding how I hear the Lord talk to me… His reply literally took me to my knees. He told me I was hearing Satan talk to me… His view of my kind of love for people was “sugar coated”, that I wasn’t much of a Christian…I explained I could uphold the rules of God and still love people…he was all about hell, fire and brimstone and I’m more about the Kingdom. The first thing I did was get my Devotional Bible and asked the Lord if I was wrong...as I usually do I pray and talk with the Lord and ask for his instructions, I opened my devotional to: Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Jesus said : John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. This doesn’t dismiss us from teaching the gospels or the punishment…but I think it should be our first guide line in how we do it As a parent I found I have unconditional love for my Children… but my children have had (at times) conditional love for me … Do we approach God with conditional or unconditional love? God bless you, Faith

To show that all there strength, all their hardships in battle, is for the land of Narnia. All the blood spilled on the land was for Narnia. They're risking their lives for Narnia.

I'm not sure if they said that in the books or not. I can't remember. But they said it in the movie because, one, it's such a noble phrase that it gives you goose bumps. And two, because it's telling everyone around just who he's going to battle for. He's not doing it because it's fun, or because he wants to get himself killed, he's doing it "For Narnia!"

Probably when I was a little kid I truly did love everyone. Now I say I do, and try to act like it. But when you see all the crap that some people do, it gets hard sometimes to really love and not want to throttle their necks. ((((UNCLE))))
