Pharmacy v.s. Dentistry?

I'm a high school senior in Nevada and I'm most likely going to University of Reno. I want a career that makes bank but still gives me time to do on-the-side activities such as filming and traveling. I've been contemplating on becoming either a Pharmacist with a MBA or a Dentist. What are the pros and cons for each job? And which one do you think I would like better?

Definitely pharmacy. My uncle is a pharmacist and I plan on going into that career, too.

One of the benefits I can think of off the top of my head is his 7-on 7-off schedule. He works for 7 days, and is off for 7 days. And if a coworker needs you to cover for them for x amount of days, those days that you worked for them is added to your "weekend". For example, let's say you worked your 7 days but a friend needed you to work 3 more for him. Instead of having 7 days off, you'll have 10 which I think is awesome, especially for vacations and personal days.

    May the best career win!

Like somebody already said, only you can make your own decisions. On the plus side, you could end up setting up your own practise for either chosen career, then you can pretty much take off to fulfil your artistic needs when you want to, provided the business is in safe hands!

I don't know which you will prefer, guess you've just gotta weigh up whether pulling teeth will make you barf or not! Both have a long road to full qualification, but my mom is a pharmacy dispenser and she likes it!

And if you still can't make up your mind, you can't lose by going for the better paying profession out of the two :)
