How can you hide your questions and answers?

click on your avatar, go to your profile, edit my info... the page will have the options at the bottom.

HOW DO I MAKE MY Q&A PRIVATE?

1. Click on My Profile in the upper right on the green border.

2. On your Profile page click Edit My Info in the middle column on the Edit My Profile. Scroll down to the Privacy section.

3. In the Yahoo! Answers Network section: If you really do not want anybody at all to see your Q&A, you do not want to allow fans so do not check that box.

4. Check the box “On my public profile, hide my Q&A from people who are not my contacts.” Despite what it says here, fans as well as contacts will be able to see your Q&A even if you make them private. It is rather screwed up that way because it should be that only your Contacts YOU add can see your private Q&A but I tested it and fans can as well.

5. Check the box “On my public profile, only show my Answers Network to my Contacts” if you want to also hide who your Fans and Contacts are. This is up to you

6. Under “UPDATES” where it says Yahoo! Answers, in the drop down box choose “Don't Share my updates.”

7. When you are done editing your Y!A profile click the blue Preview button and then OK.
