Is Cotto an easier fight than Mosley for Pacquiao?

Hasn't Cotto already beaten Mosley? Why are people saying that Pacquiao chose the easier fight? Mosley is saying he beat the guy who beat Cotto but we all know that there was only one reason Margarito beat Cotto right?

Update:

I would also add that even if Pacquiao beats Mosley, there would already be a ton of excuses like regarding Mosley's age or that he is dehydrated.

People here already claiming that Cotto coming down to Pacquiao's weight is unreasonable and shows the fight is fixed in Pacquiao's favor. What more if Mosley had to come down to that weight!?

Against Cotto, they've already prepared the excuse that he is damaged goods at the hands of Margarito. But I saw that fight and it really seemed like Margarito's punches had a little something extra in them. In my opinion, Cotto is still undefeated.

Both fights are tough fights regardless of what some may think, however the media and a significant number of Boxing fans including myself are unsure exactly what type of Miguel Cotto to expect. After the battering Miguel Cotto took at the hands of Antonio Margarito you really have to wonder where he is physically, because some fighters never recover from beatings like that. Roy Jones Jr. for example once he was knocked out by Antonio Traver he was never the same fighter.

Some people my feel like Manny Pacuqaio choose the easier opponent because their isn't a question mark behind Shane Mosley's name. We seen him dominate and then knockout the supposed "Iron Chin" of Antonio Margarito we know Shane is coming off the biggest win of his career. Like I mentioned above Miguel Cotto might be another situation.

Miguel Cotto has a win over Shane Mosley however it is before he fought Antonio Margarito and as much as i would love to ignore it, its the truth. Another thing to make note of is the Judges score cards. Miguel Cotto wins a unanimous decision but it wasn't by a significant margin, Larry Merchant of HBO actually scored the fight a draw, and Roger Mayweather scored the fight for Shane Mosley so either way it was close fight Mosley didn't get blown out here.

Cotto is an easier fight by a butt hair because of the style match up, Mosley is fast which is usually Pacquiao's advantage. Fighting someone like Cotto should not be looked at as walk in the park though, he could very well win and Manny should only be a slight favorite.

Cotto is the harder guy to facel. He is younger, stronger, and is more primed, plus in most people's eyes, he is undefeated. Mosley lost five times and two times he used steroids in those two wins. Plus Cotto beat Mosley fair and square.

I do think that if Shane Mosley were to fight PacMan then the fight would be pretty much even.

    Mosley could beat PacMan.

Cotto is good but not great.

Yeah he's 45 and one but who has he fought?

Sure he beat Mosley but against PacMan Mosley could win.

Cotto is on his prime. Mosley is old and on a decline. Mosley is washed up, Cotto already destroyed him!
