If you haven't hit it or exerted some form of force on it, then that is not normal.
Are your teeth crowded? If that is the case, then the problem may be other teeth are pushing it around, making it loose.
Another problem could be that the surrounding tissue of the teeth are infected and are dieing causing the socket that the teeth is in to fail. Google (should say Yahoo! Search!) Periodontal disease and periodontitis for its symptoms and effects.
If it still feels pretty solidly put in place, then I wouldn;t really worry about it until your next dental appointment, but if you are really concerned, go see your Dentist!

I'm older and when I called my dentist in a panic, he said it could be normal. It stopped moving after a couple of days. At your age, I'd call the dentist and ask if it continues for a couple of days. It is unlikely your tooth will fall out or anything. Don't chew hard foods with that tooth for a while.
Mine was a top tooth in the front. I'm sure it moved, but have to admit that when I tried later after talking to him, it didn't move anymore. I've had the same dentist for years, seeing him twice a year, so he knew my teeth, so could comment without seeing me.
Hope it works out OK.

It's doubtful that your tooth is truly loose...when you try to move a tooth with either your tongue or your fingers, you can't really get a good "read" on what's loose and what's not because both the tongue and fingers are soft and have some "give" to them which can be interpreted as feeling loose. Here's the trick, use something firm, like the handle end of your toothbrush, or the handle of a spoon to gently apply pressure to the front of the tooth, pushing towards your tongue. If it's loose, you will see that movement. As I said, there is no reason it should be loose at your age, unless you had an injury to it recently. If it had decay, that is usually pretty obvious in a thin lower front tooth, you will usually see a shadowing. If you're still concerned, please have your dentist check it out to set your mind at ease. Good luck.

I'm not a dentist but you might have a cavity below the gumline with that tooth. I hope you're not one of those people who say.."My teeth are hard..so I shouldn't have to brush them or floss them..since they're hard they will last forever!!!"
If you don't brush your teeth everyday(twice a day at LEAST) then the decay will catch up with you just like any other human being on earth. I mean..not unless you're a dog or a robot(dogs got some pretty strong teeth BTW).
