Domain of an Absolute Value within a square root?
I know this is probably relatively easy, but math isn't my thing. I want to know how do you find the domain of an equation that has an absolute value within a square root. For example F(x) = √(7- |x + 12| ). I know the domain of a square root must consist of numbers which are non-negative but the absolute value within the square root is throws me off and I don't know where to go from there. Any hints would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

if the square root is odd like a cube root, the domain is all real numbers but if the square root is even, then the domain is x must be greater than or equal to zero or depending on the given as long as it should not result to a negative number as an even square root must only consist of positive numbers
