If people gets tat's and piercings for themselves, why do they make sure other people can see them?

i, not see my icon? its cut off but it does go a little further down and the icon in the middle is gonna be the mangekyo and im getting it as a tatto on my back and idc if ppl see it or not.

I really don't show them off in public too often. I reserve the butt and vagtoo for ONLY my s/o to see in person.

I have a tatoo that is hidden,don't need to advertise. Some people get really nice work done & it should be displayed, after all it is art!

Well, sometimes it's for themselves, sometimes it's for fashion too. They'd like others to appreciate their body artwork!

no, it's really just about expressing themselves. its just like what kind of clothes people like wearing, it shows who they are and what they like, what makes him himself or her herself

sometimes it's accidental .

my tattoos are hidden & they are pretty sentimental to me .

there's one on my wrist, so people having a peek at it is pretty inevitable .
