why does my dog like going under blankets?

Question

my dog has liked going under covers since she was a little puppy.  we have had her from around 8 weeks old, she is a mini poodle.  is it something i have done? 

she likes to sleep down between my feet under the covers at night and during the day the thing is she is always wanted to be put under the covers and is i am not around to put her under them, she smooshes herself under them now, when she does it herself she it is fine as long as she gets her head under and it is okay to her if her butt is sticking out of the covers, lol.

Well my dogs like this too. My oldest dog has short hair and so i think its because he gets cold at night, i also he does it because he likes knowing your safe a night and wants to be with you every minute of the night. Just knowing that your there and ok makes him happy! Hope i helped!

my dog used to do that she was a beagle she feels good warming up your feet my family got scared because we thought she was going to over heat but she came out when she got hot so nothing is wrong with her she just likes being warm
