What hotels should I avoid in Greece?
Hi, I'm going to Greece for my honeymoon and was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations or advice about hotels and accommodation.
What hotels/BBs should we avoid?
What hotels/BBs did you love?
We're going to Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. Thanks!

Ha, 10 answers before mine, and none of this greek users can see why is that so. Actually none of them gave you an descent answer, except of pure insults. Maybe that is one of the reasons why The Department of State suggests American tourists to avoid Greece, or just maybe their VIOLENT nature! Really, I can't see the light in the end of the Greek tunnel, just as billions people from the world.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Why don't you ask it the other way than: what hotels should I go to in Greece?
What is it with some people and always wanting to focus on the negative side of life?!
Use the positive form, always use the positive form. Positive attracts positive, just as like attracts like.

Stay away from Evripidou Street and any hotels near by. I once got lost in Athens and ended up there....I thought I was going to die of a panic attack. I don't like walking past imiigrant junkies, whores and drug addicts at 1:00 a.m......or at any time....

you should avoid the hotel near the patheon beacause it's kind of creepy in there especially in this nice suit. at first u don't notice it but later you'll get the feeling that someone's watching u. becareful.

I agree with Jedi Master.
There are thousands of hotels in Greece. Choose the island/city you want to visit, then go to www.tripadvisor.com and read the reviews.
