criminology and psychology a good mix ?

i want to be either a police officer or a lawyer is it a good mix to do at uni

    These two are a very good mix, although you would probably want to end up being a criminologist and work with detectives.

    A criminologist is a person who delves into the psyche of people who commit crimes in order to second guess criminal or explain why the criminal has behaved a certain way - i.e. delve into their mind. It would be quite an upsetting job I imagine as you would have to deal with the most gruesome of cases and get involved with really messed up individuals.

    I don't think these two would help you as far a going into law is concerned or at least let me re-phrase that, they would help but there are other courses that would help you more, such as A level law and then a law degree.

    yip, im doing my psychology and criminology degree at the mo, its really interesting and works well for a police officer. it doesnt overly help for lawyer. you need to do a law degree for that
