what would kill the fish and frogs in my tank?? ive had it for 2 years and no problems no new fish?
we clean the tank once a month. when we do we do a partial water change and we buy water because our tap water is way too hard. to start out we had 2 frogs 3 angel fish and 1 sucker fish. we did a partial water change just like normal a little over a month ago. and then a week ago on tues first 1 frog died within the hour the sucker died and then sometime in the night the other frog died? now its been a week and we still have our three angel fish but their eyes are turning white at first it looked like they had a film over them and now im thinking they are dissolving? not sure what is going on? we haven't bought any new fish or frogs in about a year! and until this none of them have died.
what kind of test kit?? i have always fed the frogs some blood worms and shrimp i feed the fish fish food and i ve always fed them between 5 and 7pm and i drop in an algae wafer at night right after i would turn off the light. we dont replace the filters everytime we clean the tank and we didnt replace them this time we rinsed them out with tap water. my husband keeps an eye on the ph and nitrate and all that for at least 3 to 4 days after we do a water change.

Go buy a test kit; there is no way to know whats wrong by a description. The water that you buy could contain a lot of minerals or even nitrates and over time that could cause a lot of problems. Also how much were you feeding them and what kind of filter do you use. Please answer my questions and I am sure I will be able to help you. Cheers Max
Its not a parasite as the frog died along with the fish.
Test the water mid way, not right after you add water. I like API, but that's really up to what brand you want. Whats the size of your tank? You don't want rinse the filter with tap water as this kills all the good bacteria if it gets clogged up and dirty only rinse with tank water.
