should i unlock my iPhone?

I'm relocating to the UK from the US. don't want to get rid of my iPhone but will i be able to get a new service provider over there? what's the best way to unlock the phone?

    I unlocked and use Tmobile.

    google "iphone dev team blog"

    Or you COULD get on AT&T I bet.
