How do i hook my nintendo wii to my dvr box (time warner cable)?
The cables (red, white, yellow) won't reach the tv av inputs so i'm trying to connect the wii to my dvr box which has three AV inputs. When I connect them i can't get the dvr remote to switch to the wii. I tried pressing the video source button but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong, is it a remote issue, tv issue or dvr box issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can connect your wii to a DVR box, but it depends on which kind it is. If you want to record your games then use one of these like me:

You can not connect your nintendo unit to your DVR box. The AV inputs on the DVR box are outputs, not inputs.
if the cables do not reach, you need to buy longer cables or move your nintendo or your TV.

I even have Time Warner Cable, and in case you prefer to have that provider on yet another television you will could purchase yet another container. counting on your area the container could be unfastened, yet you will could pay a month-to-month value for the extra container. in terms of procuring the channels, they'll technically be unfastened and you're starting to be the comparable channels, on account that value is factored in to the cost of the container. in case you decide on DVR on your 2d television, you will additionally could pay an extra month-to-month value for that. So, basically placed, preserving the comparable channels would be unfastened, yet you will could pay separate month-to-month expenditures for a cable container and DVR on your 2d television. wish this enables!
