    -7/2 ( -2x) -7/2 (6/7) -3 =

    7x -42/14 - 3 =

    7x - 3 - 3 =

    7x -6

    This isn't an equation, 'cause there's no equality, it's a simplified expression.

    First point to note is that an equatiion requires an = sign.

    What we have here is an EXPRESSION that has to be simplified.

    7x - 3 - 3

    7x - 6
