how do i find out if some1 is really a lawyer?
i met a woman who claims to be an attorney. she said she practiced in calif and nevada. i do not believe her. how can i find out? i have her real name just dont know how to go about finding out. i tried looking on lawyer.com but was unsuccessful... any suggestions?

Check with the bar associations in those states. She would have to be a member of the state bar to practice law in the state.
