What happens if I fail to be a marine corp pilot?

Lets say I ROTC or simply enlist to the marines out of college. Now I try to be a pilot but I fail. What happens to me and what are my options, can i transfer to another branch or what ? MY hopes are that I get another chance or go for Green Berets

Once you complete ROTC and get a chance to go to flight school for the USMC, then you will be trained to become a pilot. However, if you fail, you will still be an officer in the USMC, but you will be re-branched into another branch WITHIN the USMC. Just because you fail flight training does not mean that you can quit the USMC and join the Army (Green Berets are Army and not Marines).

No, you have to be a Marine first.

Then you go to flight school.

if you washout, your still a Marine.

You would then be put where the marine corps needs you, considering what your college major was.
