House phone not working?

Okay so the phone is connected and everything all 3 of my house phones and last week it decided not to work. If I pick it up you can't hear anything if someone calls you can't hear the phone ringing. It doesn't even show that someone is calling. My internet still works so I don't think my phone is actually disconnected any ideas?

Update:

I did that.

DSL can still work if your phone line has a trouble on it...

what happens when someone calls, do they hear it ring, or do they hear a busy signal or get sent straight to voicemail? if they hear the phone ring, then there is a broken wire somewhere (since you have multiple phones i would assume this would be an outside problem) if the phone is busy, or goes right to voicemail, i would suspect one of your phones being defective...)

go th the NID on the side or back of your house with a corded telephone... open it with a screwdriver, and plug your corded phone in here... if you still have no dial tone then the trouble is outside, call your local phone provider to make the repairs...

That happened to me once. It turned out that the battery was dead. See if that is your problem. Good luck!
