DVD player trouble any ideas?
Awhile ago we started having trouble with one of our dvd players. The picture would go off, still had sound. We would 'smack' the player and it would come back on. Got fed up with doing that, so switched out the player for another one in the house. No picture at all, sound ok. Tried a third player, same thing. Husband has tried redoing all cabels, etc. Tuner works fine, tv works fine, just no dvd picture. Any thoughts?

The problem is either the video cable or the input jack on the TV. Try a different video cable or a different input on the TV. If the TV has no other inputs, you might get by with a more expensive cable that'll fit more snugly in the TV. Otherwise, you'll have to have the TV serviced or buy an RF converter so you can use the DVD player with the TV's tuner.
