UK users of the BlackBerry Curve 8900?

I pay £5.00/month with Orange for online features. Can anybody tell me what this £5.00 covers? Is it for unlimited data charges, eg receiving emails whilst outside wifi areas or is it just plainly an subscription charge? Also is there anyway to disable receiving emails etc outwith the wifi areas and just receive them when in wifi range?

Thanks for all advice :)

Work or play, 500MB will keep you busy - just see what you could do*:

    50,000 emails via webmail

500 emails with attachments via webmail

    500 hours of instant messaging

    50 hours of internet browsing

    download 10 film trailers
