Nobody's too old to dress up for Halloween.
Just pick a character you like from a book, movie, tv, or someone you'd like to be for a day, then go online and google images; for example, google, (images) "costume pretty witch" or "Halloween evil nurse", etc. You'll see a lot of examples and can figure out for yourself whether you need to buy a costume or can put some or all of it together yourself.
