why do some dogs sleep on their backs with their legs in the air?

    They sleep like that because it's comfortable.

    That's like asking why do some people sleep on their back and others sleep on their stomach - because that's the way they want to sleep.

    My dog sleeps like that a lot of the time. I think its just down to being comfortable in their surroundings and it looks quite comfy too ha ! Every dog is different !
