Help, rainbow six vegas 2?

I have a Vista 64bit computer, and its pretty good. I don't know the specs, but I can run call of duty 4 perfectly. I bought tom clancy's rainbow six vegas 2, but its laggy when I play.

I don't know what the problem is. I installed all the patches already. HELP.

This game is a pretty crappy port of the 360 version. It tends to need more power to run properly then it should. I'd recommend updating your drivers, for both video and sound cards. After that, lower the game resolution and details until you're happy with the speed you're getting. Aside from that, there's not much you can do.

You didn't give your specs, so I'll give you mine, so you have an idea of what you need to run it. I have a Core2Duo at 2.4ghz, and an ATI 4850 512mb, and 2 gigs of RAM. I have the video card overclocked, and I'm on XP. The game runs perfectly for me at max details. It pushes my system hard to do so though, so I doubt you could run it well with much less then what I have, especially if you have Vista, since it's more of a resource hog then XP.
