peace to you too sis =)

    still alive here! :D

i guess you remember me from before .. hehe

Alhamdulilah, Ramadan went really nice .. and easy =)

as i mentioned before .. i have fasted Nafl before Ramadan as well ..

being thristy was challenging .. but Alhamdulilah, once you remind yourself about the reason .. it is not difficult =)

yea ... tired .. yes .. totally .. i felt very tired the entire time .. especially the first few days .. i didnt know how to plan my day and so was really sleepy day&night .. then later on i kinda got used to it .. lol

absolutely loveee Ramadan .. can't believe we have to wait for another 11months for it to come again .. Insha'Allah.

and i have already started from today .. to make up for my missed fasts =)

    Eid Mubarak sis !!

Fasting wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be, but there were certainly temptations to ward off-- my family and friends are not muslims, so I wasn't really able to feel a sense of support. The weekends were hardest, as there was less distraction from the hunger. Allah (swt) got me through it, though, and I am so very grateful.

One thing I regret though: I forgot to pay my zakat for the eid prayer. I was waiting for a family that I knew to arrive, and next thing I knew, it was prayer time. I remembered about the zakat a few minutes after we'd finished, but by then I didn't know who to give it to. :'(

Those who love Islam thirst for Islam and never get tired of it.

Those who read the Quran never get tired of it are those who tthirstfor the never ending knowledge by Allah. Fasting is part of that uplifting spirit and soul so your desires will be removed or llessened The first Ramadan for reverts is cCrucialand is very important for them to observe this as it will make their rreversionwith blessings and mercy iinsteadof hardships and suffering. There is many reverts that go through a transitional state when they enter Islam because of the changes it involves. I have seen many of them better than my born brothers and sisters and myself Al hamdoullah and I am very humbled by them as they strive for this thirst far more than any of us do.

The first Ramadan is important along side the rest surely if you learn something the right way first time, you can have that carry you throughout the entire of your life inshallah amin.

There is much to be said about this topic and surely it is a strengthening not a weakening as you ddescribeit, we strive for the best and those who strive for that are those who are rewarded. Not always are you going to ahavea good Ramadan but Al hamdoullah you will strive for it with best intentions and that Allah SWT has recorded as he is Rahman Al Raheem!

beautiful question and beautiful answers by the people who are now alhamduillah muslims.

and please dont worry if you didnt pay zakat or left some rituals always remember Allah is all forgiving and merciful. when he showed you the right path he will also tell you how to walk through it.

Allah is the most merciful and love his creation 70 times more than a mother does.

    May Allah guide us all
