what do you think of this dress?
I am getting married on my grandparents 66th wedding ann. So we are having a 1940's theme. I do not want a modern dress. so i saw this dress and love it, but my friend says its too plain. i would love your thoughts. thanks http://www.bluevelvetvintage.com/1940s-FRED-PERLBE...
if people do not like it..thats ok. I am adding a baby bluse sash on the waist. my grandmother is letting me wear the necklace she wore on her wedding day.
this is where i am getting married.so its a more low key wedding.

I like it. It's different than all the strapless dresses that are so dominate now. I think it would fit in perfectly with a 1940's theme.

I think it's really beautiful. I love the neckline and I love the idea of getting a dress inspired by the year your grandparents got married. I don't think the colored sash is necessary, but if that's your color, go ahead.

Love it - it's "old fashioned" in a good way.
